︎︎︎ Qumba’s First Day Of Work
Qumba Co. is a short film that follows Qumba – a quantum vacuum’s first day of work. The comedic sketch aims to make the complex phenomenon of quantum tunneling not only understandable but also entertaining for our audience.
We do this by ‘demonstrating’ the various ways in which one can increase the likelihood of quantum tunneling:
1. increasing speed,
2. changing the polarization,
3. altering the barrier, and
4. adjusting the environmental temperature.
Through our Qumba – a playful take on the widely known Roomba vacuum – we ultimately merge education of physics phenomena with a lovable character and lighthearted plotline.
